“Centrally located and probably depend on units”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Still my place to go to whenever in KL, depend on individual unit, some privately own and rent through them or through Bintang Fairlane themselves. We booked through hotel website. We have been happy each time we are here. Can't wait to come back for our next year trip. I like it that is so centrally located, easy walking distance to malls, restaurants, skyway train etc...For the price, you can't beat having a 1 bedroom by this location, I can't get good price with Marriott or any surrounding area hotels. You do have to tell Taxi driver behind Lot 10.

Only complaint would be exact same boring, limited options for the complimentary breakfast. Otherwise couldn't be happier with the apt, the rooftop pool & the staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and cheerful.

The price was good for a relatively spacious one-bedroom apartment. Despite the staff being very nice, helpful and polite, the conditions of the room were not good as the walls were quite dirty, the bed -near the pillows- had dead mosquitoes, the shower arrangement made the wáter come out of the tub quite abundantly. Overall it seemed like the apartment I was asigned for the night I stayed there had not been used for a while or at least the cleaning service had been absent for several weeks (or is an extremely lousy one). I wouldn't recommend this place for a family, as the location is not the greatest, being in a very small Street that looks more like an alley. The included breakfast was very austere. Maybe for one night the place is ok if other options you were looking for were not available, like it was my case, but for people who are staying for longer, it would definitely be a depressing experience...

we stayed there for a day on transit in KL. Wanted to be close to the shops. The hotel cld not have been more perfect. we booked a studio with a bedroom, living/dining, kitchenette and bathroom. We wanted a place where we can prepare food for our baby, if need be. check-in was very fast. it is a self -service appt and you hv to be prepared to carry your bags to your room. On the night we arrived, we went outside to get some local food. we sat in the living room, watched some tv and ate as our baby slept in the other slept in the other room. we spent the next day shopping and the hotel even gave us a late check-out as our flight was at night. Bfast was basic, nothing much to talk abt...

For a shopping trip the location could not be better. The apartment however was small - with a very echoey bathroom sandwiched between the 2 bedrooms. Not good if one of you has an upset digestive tract!
Shower was hopeless - never got above tepid.Daily cleaners were great - when they turned up....which appeared to be only when reminded.
Kitchen extremely understocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses - not that we ate in but 4 matching glasses or 4 glasses of any sort would be good. Would prefer not to drink my G& T out of one of 3 mismatched mugs! One sharp knife to cut the lemon - and when I say sharp think knife that bends trying to cut a lemon.
Price ok- security great and location perfect.
Bedrooms were small and the beds were short - maybe just 6 feet - too short for us tall pelangi!
No air conditioning in the gym and half the equipment was broken. Loose tiles in pool - although pool area was great.

PRO's... Great location in Bukit Bintang, however poorly signposted and hard for taxis to find. We were in B block with a rear exit next to Royal Hotel.
Spacious apartment.
Washing Machine.
Comfortable beds
CON's... We also encountered the sewage smell in the bathroom...my husband got the hose from the toilet and washed out the drain which helped.
The apartment definitely needed painting and a bit of maintenance.
The bathroom completely flooded with each shower, even though the drain cover in floor had been taken out.
Basic, repetitive breakfast and they charge you 10 MYR for every 100gms of food left over!
Would we stay here again...no. There is so much to chose from in KL. I would prefer the older Dorsett Regency or Parkroyal Apartments where we have stayed previously.

Room Tip: I think it's a bit hit and miss as to which apartment you get.
