Booked here for one night short stay to try out the hotel. We were check into a studio suite room which is equip with a small kitchen area, a standard bathroom with no bath tub, and also a standard size living area with big bed.

Check in was okay, but we weren't really properly greeted as hotel guest as probably we were not properly dress? (were only with shorts, tee and flip flops) anyway, hotels which overrated like this shouldn't look down on any hotel guest and they should improve with a warm welcome to the hotel. The location is good, close walking distance to KL shopping landmark Pavillion. Walkway to room does makes me feel like I'm in Venetian Macau with their long trek to rooms and large hallway which makes you feel a bit "royal" haha.

Room in all was okay, not quite suitable with the title royal, but just a normal standard 5 star hotel. My only problem with the room is the shower room. Water spilled out everywhere whenever we take a shower, also to mentioned is their broken toilet door. I supposed all this should be check before any hotel guest go check in.

Never have the time to try their spa and pool area. Being a "halal" hotel I supposed, there's no Chinese cuisine for in room dining as well. Check out was a bliss as we were books under Expedia.com. I guess I would only come back with the same rates I'm paying or lower, but would not stay here with their full rack rate. If you're looking for a studio suite room, I would personally suggest you try MiCasa All Suite Hotel in KL. :)

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times both times we were upgraded to room with a balcony which is quite rare in KL. It is nice to sit on the balcony and look out to the pool and the other building are not crammed in tightly around you, also there is a good view of the towers, looks lovely at night. If you get a room with a balcony (terrace) on the pool level it is very convenient for going in and out of the pool from your own little gate. The second time we went the pool was cloudy but there had been a lot of rain and also all the lights in the pool were loose and floating but they fixed it the next day. The breakfast was good especially Malaysian but I found it a bit spread out and you have to sit back at your table to wait for the eggs to be cooked. If you want a late check out you will be charged the full night rate so if you are leaving at 9.30pm for a midnight flight you might as well book another night beforehand so you will not get the problems of them not having a room for you as they get very booked out.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony are nice but they may be expensive

A really nice hotel in a good location. rooms are spacious and osm have balconies. We went in december and the whole hotel was really geared up for christmas which added a nice atmosphere to things - lots of parties and events. the food in the hotel was very good and breakfast has a huge choice . we also tried a malay buffet and again the choice was huge and the food very good quality. staff are friendly and i found service very good . definitely recommended

Room Tip: try to get a balcony

a last min trip plans to KL gave minimal time to shortlist the accommodation this time.
a few hours going through asiarooms.com and agoda.com and i stumbled upon a very good deal in asiarooms.com for a 5star hotel in the heart of bukit bintang for less than SGD 250.00 for a 2 nights stay.!

upon arrival the doorman/concierge assisted with our baggages. check in was swift. i am tremendously happy with the room allocated although it is located on a smoking floor. room #549. the rooms are huge esp for a couple. come with a balcony with overlooks the twin tower.

bathroom was superb with separate shower and tub. what i love about it is that its something like a walk in wardrobe attached to the washroom. simply chic.! enormous bed, fluffy pillows and cooling duvet just keep me clingy to the bed.!

other amenities are working well like the lcd tv, kettle, lightings in the room just that the aircon is tad a lil noisy but it didnt really matter much as both days we were tired out and sleep soonest after a hot shower. the ironing board was also missing from the room but room service sent it within minutes when i requested.

breakfast was okay. i guess this is the part that might seem to bring the stars down for this hotel. the sambal prawn was too dilute, condiments for nasi lemak cold. and the omelette was disappointing. coffee was also dilute. the staffs was missing from the prata live station.

check out was also swift. all in all the stay was good. in any case if i were to make a trip to KL and the rates are affordable, i'd definitely come back again.

Room Tip: request for balcony room as not all the rooms have the balcony affixed. :)

Room type : Premier, 4th floor.

The lobby was very grand and impressive upon stepping into the hotel. It's hidden just behind Pavillion, where there are lots of shopping and restaurants. Bukit Bintang is just down the road, walking will take you around 10-15 mins from pavillion.

Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially the conceige and floor manager, who gave us very good directions to places that we wanted to go. Did not try asking the hotel to arrange for a cab. Instead we walked a little way out and hail one along the road. Going to KLCC was RM5 from the hotel for us(party of 2)

Beds were comfortable and clean and toilets were huge with nice bathtube and rainforest shower :)
if you had booked the premier room like us, you would get a private balcony, which is roomy. Depending on your room, the view might not be too impressive for some.

Breakfast, as mentioned by many serves a huge variety. Think there'll be something that will suit you. Many tables available for seating as well, both indoors and outdoors.

Point to note : if you happen to stay during an event(annual dinner, etc), be prepared for the noise.. as it will last pass midnight.. ..

Wifi in the room is difficult to connect most of the time, unless it's pass midnight.. but strong signals at the lobby, if you don't mind.

Pool is good and nice. Clean.. with pool towels provided.

I would definitely go back again if time and $$ permits :)

We stayed at this most beautiful of properties and were bowled over by its elegance and class, however, were somewhat both surprised and dissapointed by the rather robotic and unsmiling as well as uncaring attitude of most of the staff. Check in was miserable as the receptionist never even made eye contact and informed us that as we were checking in an hour early we would not get a late check out, even though we niether asked or intended to ask for a late check out. Requests for directions were met by either a shrug of the shoulders or no effort at all with a "no idea". We did eat at the bunga emas restaurant and this was a real highlight as the service and especially the food were both fantastic. Such a shame that the staff let this place down. Would have to be persuaded to return but at the moment would not consider a return visit until the staff attitude improves greatly.

This hotel is within walking distance of many of the luxury malls, many restaurants, Petronas Towers, and still has serene grounds and quiet, luxurious rooms. The breakfasts and lunches were very good, and the conference facilities were also more than adequate, although some female colleagues thought the rooms were too cold. The pool was delightful, seemed very clean, and the gym was satisfactory.
