“First Class Service... Loved It”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

Was such a great gotel. The cabbies thought didnt know where it was possibly because it is new, or renovated or perhaps our accent. But nevertheless once there, we loved it so much. You go to Level 2 for reception. Loved the green apples and macs at reception for easy browsing. There is also free coffee at reception there as well. Didnt try it as everytime we would go to receotion it would be very late so didnt want to get a caffeine hit late at night. The use of computers was NEVER crowded. Wss only me and hubbie there all the 4 nights/days we were there.

The room we stayed in a suite, it had a kitchenetter, complimentary water every day. large king bed, living room, huge bathroom (with excellent pressure on the water), nice amenities as well. On our last day there was a minor power failur so had to call maintenance in which they were very quick to fix, but other than that loved it here.

Breakfast was OK, spread had a variety, eggs made to order. But since it was included who is to complain. There were some flies lurking in the mornings on the food, so that kind of put me off a little. Wished the coffee was free, when i asked if they could make me a skim latte they mumbled something i could not understand so as to be polite i said no problem and ushered to the drip coffee and drank that instead.

7 minute walk to Pavillion and Suria KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers. Very easy walking. Location is fab!

There is also a steam room on Level 18, a spa for women and men (separate) and a pool. Wished we had longer here but alas did not use. So very clean!

Had a great self laundry clean as well. Wished had used this ready for my trip to Singapore coz it was so cheap compared to Singapore. In Singapore a shirt to have ot laundered was $4.50SGD, here you could do a washing load for i think it was less than $1AUD! And they supplied the washing powder!

Would definitely stay here again. Just remember do ALL YOUR SHOPPING IN KUALA LUMPUR the AUD is like 3 times the amount. It was amazing. This hotel, was just fabulous. Claened and made bed every day, replenished amenities, we were very impressed. WOuld definitely come again, and so should you!

Room Tip: We had the suite and this was amazing. I think any size room would be great here.

This is a great hotel/serviced apartment. We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment, which comes with a well-equipped kitchenette, large living room, bedroom and en suit bathroom. It is ideal for a family as it is spacious, has a pool and washing/dryer section.
This was the second time we have stayed here and we can definitely recommend it. It is in good walking distance to Pavilion and KLCC. There is a newly finished walkway at the back of the hotel, which is quite unique for KL with shops and restaurants and no traffic.
The breakfast is served in a bar downstairs and basic compared to usual hotel breakfasts, but you get eggs made to order, cereal, toast, coffee & tea etc.

This Fraser Place at Kualalampur, is located at business district of KL, the twin tower, KL Tower and other shopping attractions are near by. We have been there with our 2 kids, the serene room ambiance, the friendly staff and excellent room amenities added up to our comfort.
When we were ready to check out after 4 nights of stay, my little son 4 years than, said that better we bring our Car from Bangkok and stay at that hotel forever.
A wonderful complement from the innocent mind of kid.

I booked this Hotel/Apartment/Suites after reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Tripadvisor and this Hotel did not let me down. We stayed here over the Christmas-New Years Eve Period
The driving access to this location is discreet and not prominent. Upon getting down from your cab, you are received in a room/hall with a waterfall, sofas and the concierge desk with the restaurant at the back. You have to take the lift to get to the lobby/reception on the 2nd floor. That's where the magic begins!
The reception has a very modern arty look and feel to it (I would even go so far as to call it a W for budget travelers!). There a 4 imacs in the lobby for open use by guests (a first!) and excellent coffee machine and a basket of green apples (loved that!). Check-in was quick and easy.
The key card lets you access your floor int he lift. We stayed in 3 types of rooms 1)The regular 2)The Deluxe Suite 3) The Executive suite
The Deluxe and Executive are too similar. The real difference is between the regular and deluxe room. The deluxe has a hall, large kitchen/dining area. The bathroom is bigger and there are 2 LCD TV's one in the bedroom and the other in the hall.
The room & bathroom are excellent and have luxurious linen, lots of TV channels and a very positive feel to them. All rooms have unlimited broadband Wifi for Free!
Next the Pool & Gym. The property has an infinity pool on the 18th floor overlooking the KL tower! The gym is very well equipped and accessible 24x7. The Steam, Sauna, Jacuzzi & Chill pool are also very nice. The same 18th floor also has a children's gaming area and a laundry room.
The breakfast is good but not great. For a change I saw the staff here making a very commendable effort in keeping things moving during rush hour.
The only thing I did not like is that this property does not have twin beds for kids & the regular room that I had booked for my kids to stay had a see thru glass between the bed and the shower! Not ideal for kids. So we moved the kids to the suite and stayed in the regular room.
The property is 5 minutes walk from the Petronas tower & KLCC and about 10 minutes walk from the Pavilion Mall (Amazing!)

Room Tip: Avoid the Studio Deluxe. Go for the Studio Deluxe or One Bedroom Deluxe for best value.

We stayed here for 6 nights in December. Its close to everything and rooms and service were superb. Dont mess about reading other reviews and checking out other places. Dont waste your time and just book here.

Get a card from front desk to show taxi driver if you need to come back and use the monorail up the road to go to china town or for the major shopping places. Its cheap as and quicker than a car. Dont use the get on/get off bus as its rubbish. Head across to Gaucho near hotel for a super steak!! Use the laundry service upstairs on level 18 and it will dry in your room while you are out. Its very very easy and you will have clothes ready for next few days. Get token from reception. Forget visiting patronas towers as they are only good to look at. There is an excellent shopping centre underneath them and a water park out the back. If its raining you should go to the Aquarium at the Convention centre up the road. We saved that for a downpour that happened one day. Look up fireflies in kuala selangor and go see those and the monkeys on the mountain. You can pat and feed the monkeys as they are very tame. Its about an hour and half out of town. Our taxi driver took us there on a deal. We also had a seafood dinner after the monkeys and then went in speed boats.

Room Tip: There was some noise but not until 10am and only until just after lunch. You should be out shopping...

Service received was first class! we forgot our battery recharger when we left and the staff were very quick and responsive to help send it back to us in Australia. Can't fault this hotel, quality rooms with fair prices and super service!

I spent 3 nights here in a studio room on the smoking floor.
I loved this hotel so much, I didn't want to leave. It was really wonderful. The room furnishings and amenities were top quality. The WiFi was a decent speed. The pool was unreal during the day and especially at night, so beautiful up there. The housekeeping was Amazing!!! Tremendous job, really! The exercise room was stellar too. The ipod stereo rocked, I really liked that. The air conditioning and ventilation in the room were really good. I couldn't even tell I was smoking in the room.

The negatives were. The breakfast. They had something labeled chicken sausages, but they looked like chicken wieners to me. I've had way better breakfasts, pretty disappointing. I also ordered a steak sandwich from the restaurant and that was disappointing as well. The menu said something like the restaurant has nothing to do with Fraser place, or to that effect.
Also the hallway on my floor had no air conditioning and had a gross feeling to it.

Really this place was worth the rate I booked online with discount. I might be hesitant in booking at 20% more or higher.

For the room, pool and housekeeping I give this place an amazing rating.
