The hotel is centrally located with easy access to number of attractions. LRT and Monorail stations are also at walking distance from hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and enough for single traveler like me. The only problem is noise. Hotel is located on road which is undergoing construction and also at night you can hear the doors closing and opening when people return back. Probably, replacing floor tiles with carpet and putting some thin foam on the inside of the door frame where the door contacts will reduce noise. .

Unfortunately I made a big mistake in booking 2 nights for my KL adventure at the Cube Boutique Hotel. After staying at 2 of the Hop Inn locations in Hong Kong I assumed too much. I was starting to think twice from the time I found the entrance in a really busy tight street that I couldn't even walk along as motor bikes were shortcutting on the footpath. Made it to reception, which was very inviting but which lost its allure after sitting for over half an hour before being attended to .. No there was no one else waiting. Finally into the room Hurrah ... No .. the box lacked everything. The smell of new paint hit me the moment the door. Why was I waiting I ask... well we were having the room freshened up as we are running late. Oh no I say, you didn't have to newly paint on my account .. ughh. Well too late. Saturday early evening is not a good time to find another room so hopefully on braving the street I might find a pleasant little restorante before heading back to my cell. Note to self: not all boutique style hotels are like the Hop Inns.
