As nice hotel with a resturant with pretty good food, shower is just a shower head. No curtain or anything. The free wifi is nice, too.

To be honest, this hotel have poor security system. Lacking of CCTV monitoring and private room security is bad. Why review this? Me and my friend had experienced THEFT action in the corner room which located near the escape staircase and a corner without CCTV security monitoring. The door did not break nor the window, which i believe is an act from the staff itself or maybe some cooperation with outsider? Anyway, both our stolen Laptop and broken luggage cost us about MYR 7.5K. This is a very bad experience for our first time in this hotel. Quite disappointed and very upset.

Leo Palace had few surprises in store for me.

a) While I was expecting passing night in a cubby hole, the Rooms were actually bigger. I chose a twin-bed room, and that perhaps did the trick. I guess twin-bed rooms are actually larger in area than Queen bed ones.

b) Location is not the greatest, especially if you are a tourist. Both Chow-kit monorail and PWTC LRT are bit of a walk. It will be hard to do with children. There are no good restaurants (gourmet / speciality) near-by. Ofcourse there are hawker stalls and middle-eastern and local food outlets.

c) Amenities in the room were adequate. AC though dated, did its job. There was a mini-bar (non Alcoholic beverages) and a junk food basket. Linen and towels were clean. Bed was properly made. Wi-Fi Internet signal strength of was OK in the room.

d) Toilet was functional. But shower is awkwardly placed. My room had a separate switch for Geyser which had to be turned on for hot water. Lighting within the room was not bright enough. To read, I had to sit on bed (to use shaded bed lamp).

e) My greatest gripe, the Beds were horrible. I mean the matteresses. They were (I guess) Coil-spring types and ergonmical nightmares. I got a severe back-ache and couldn't sleep well.

Chow-kit is a bit of seedy area. If you know how to handle yourself, you should be alright!

Leos is a good, reasonably priced hotel. Its in a quiet area, maybe 10 mins easy walk to Chowkit area. The breakfast is good, fruit ,eggs, sausages, baked beans, also Malay food.Tea,coffee, orange juice, all included in the room price,118 ringits.Only saw Malay clients staying here, seems its not popular with tourists.I liked its location, very quiet.I walked to Monorail, caught a taxi to KL Central.

Stayed at this hotel for a week while on a business trip. Was relatively cheap, compared to some of the other hotels in the vicinity. However, due to all the hookers and transvestites hanging around after dark, I would not recommend this hotel to families.

The room is small, although there is free Wifi, the shower was crap and my toilet could not flush properly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room. All night you can hear people talking, taps running, people on their cell phones, girls talking or giggling while making their way to their customers' rooms. There is even a spa on the second floor where you can ask for a girl to be sent to your room.

The service is below average, my room was not cleaned one day and when I reported it, the management just shifted the blame around and played dumb.

The location is not good as well, it is far from everything, there are no proper shops around and if you want anything like even a McDonald's, it is a 20 minute walk next to a river that stank to high heaven. I had to keep my windows shut the whole time I was there.

This hotel is ok if you are only staying a night or 2 but if you are staying longer and need amenities near by as well as a quieter location, then this is not the place to be.
