Staff are dedicated and really care. The orangutans are well taken care of and at the same time they have their space in a natural environment. Wonderful place to visit. We engaged a cab who waited for us and we returned with him. It may get difficult to get a cab on the return otherwise.

We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour. Next visit please try Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Sandakan, Sabah. Semenggoh Rangers truly made the center a remarkable Orangutan sanctuary. If you like Semenggoh center , you will love Sepilok Sanctuary.

We look forward to hosting you soon for another fantastic experience. Have a pleasant day.

There were only 5-6 orang utans in the morning feeding time. When we came back at 3pm, none were around. It was a disappointment. When asked a caretaker, he mentioned they were full from eating all day. Then why have the 3pm feeding time???
I came here 20years back where there were more than 20 males and females that came to feed.
It was a good experience

We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy your experience with us. While we are happy to take guest in the morning or afternoon session , the feeding time is the best part of the trip. Semenggoh Rangers has successfully graduated many Orangutans and return them back to the forest. If we encounter no Orangutans during feeding time , hence they are able to forge fruits for themselves in the forest. A successful rehabilitation program.

Thank you for the feedback and we hope to see you again.

We enjoyed our trip to the center. Our guide picked us up from our hotel and he taught us about the center and the orangutans on our way to the center. When we arrived at the center our guide took us to see the feeding. We saw a 13 year old male orangutan at the feeding. He was beautiful and it was so wonderful to see him in his natural habitat. After the feeding our guide showed us some of the plants in the center. It was a wonderful place and we were happy to support this great cause!
