The service provided was very poor for the following reasons.
1. Overcrowded buses people standing
2. Not frequent enough for the demand
3. Had to ask for ear phones after buying the ticket.
4. Many of the earphone ports were not working and we had to move a couple of times when seat came free.
5. Absolutely bare minimum of detail provided on the sites. with the same detail repeated 3-4 times.
6. In some cases we had no idea what we were looking at.

Overall very poor service we were in KL for 48 hours & normally the best way to see the place was via a hop on hop off tour as I've done with many other cities around the world. The only thing I could recommend this tour for, is a bus ticket to the sites only. I would pay more for a better service.

It takes you to all attractive places of Kuala Lumpur. Every half an hour you get a bus. A full day trip is worth taking.

If you come on holiday to get away from traffic jams - avoid this bus tour. It took 3 hours to cover a distance that could be done in an hour. Bus was neither open top, nor air conditioned. Traffic jam in sweltering heat is not fun. There weren't enough buses covering the route and we waited 45 minutes at one stop. We hopped off at the Malaysian Museum which was worth a trip. The upside is that we learned to use the LRT as an alternative mode of transport.

I have taken many Hop On Hop Off Bus Tours and have to say this was the worst. However that being said I would still recommend it, here is why.

The bus advertises a convertible bus, it's not.
The bus in the picture looks new. In reality they are old and run down. Equipment not working.
30 minute between stops? 1 hour!

I had to stand most of the time, there was very limited seating.

Overall it wasn't great, however I would still recommend this as an inexpensive and easy way to get around town to the major attractions.

We decided to give this bus a try mainly because it covers a good route around KL on one service. That is the only good thing about this bus. The advertising is completely false. There was NO open air deck and the buses are very old and worn out. The commentary is only in english and can be very difficult to hear if anyone around you is talking, nothing really works at all on the buses. Bus stops can be a little hard to find and wait time for buses is closer to 60 mins or more not the 20-30 mins advertised. Pretty much you pay RM45 per person for a 24hr ticket (even though the bus only runs from 9am till 8:30pm) and if you get off the bus you spend most of your time waiting to get back on! Almost all of the sites are accessable with trains and monorail with a little bit of walking and there are taxi stands to buy vouchers (to keep drivers honest) located at Sentral station and the bigger hotels and shopping malls if you prefer. But if you are going to give this a go at all stay on the bus for a full tour rotation to at least see the city and get some of your monies worth...
