“Newly renovated, a nice good quality hotel”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

judging by the photo that previously posted this is not the hotel i've been during last weekend. although the wall paper seems new. the elevator is working fine. the bathroom is clean. hbo on the flat tv. aircon is fine. this place seem so perfect. now i know it's been renovated this is during my visit feb 2013. i would recommend this hotel rather than the other hotel near bukit bintang.

oh although the room was payed online u need a 100rm deposit. and i believe they building an mrt station near the hotel. should be good on my next visit..

Room Tip: the room without windows is somehow really quiet.

The hotel reception was the only impressive thing in this hotel.
And the fact that it was right in the center - bukit bintang.

Dark, dim lights in corridors,
Broken bathroom, flush, shower.

Somewhat manageable beds.
Tv with just basic channels, and on top of it NO remote of tv.

We complained of broken flush, and they blamed us - that it was alright and we have broken it. After a bit quarell they upgraded us to another room, but it was no better.

On top of it, I booked 2 nights from a site, on reaching the hotel there was big banner outside the hotel, advertising lesser rates that i paid online for the booking.

None theless, you might just survive if you are travelling alone and for a short stay.
Else terrible.

Room Tip: book another hotel, unless u are short on budget and wants to stay just for a day or few hours.

The hotel service was already below average, but it became worse after their change of hotel management in Nov 2010. Their online reservation system is very disorganized, where the hotel management and their appointed online reservation agent are not properly liaised and they are not even aware of their own cancellation policy details. The misinformation they provided me has resulted in me being wrongfully charged (RM400++). I demanded a refund but they kept denying it was their fault and blamed me back for not reading their policy properly, when apparently they gave me the wrong information regarding their cancellation policy in the first place. I only managed to get my refund back after I threatened to bring this matter to court. So much of my time and energy wasted pursuing this matter. My family has been their patron for 20 years (their hotel is near shopping malls), but since this incident we have lost our trust in them. Now we'd rather find other hotels which require futher walking distance than staying here.

hiya all just got back from a stay at the sungei wang hotel thats on bukit bintang and boy was it a let down !! iv stayed at this hotel around 2 years ago and thought id stay again there as it has a great location near the hawker stalls and malls and the monorail i stayed 2 days there as it was the end of my trip, and it was a mistake the decline in the hotel was immense i had booked around 6 months ago at a price of MR118per night but when i got to receptionthey said my room had gone up in price to MR138 so i shown him the reciept i had and MR118was what i was paying and he couldnt argue as i had the reciept then when i got to my room on the 3rd floor it was so shaby the bath was so filthy i rand reception to get someone up to come clean it!! the was shampoo and soap spilt all over the bath which had been painted and the paint was all peeling off so it looked brown the bathroom it self hadnt been cleaned in a month of sundays and was filthy and stained as was the sink also no plugs for the sink
the room itself had not been hoovered or cleaned or dusted, there wer holes in the wall and the tea cups wer stained and not washed, i must say the bed was clean but thats about all that was good in the hotel and also there is no breakfast provided sorry but this hotel wont be getting my vote again!!

Well, the room we booked didnt have a window , so we paid extra and got a deluxe room .. lol .. look at my pics ! I dont have to say more ....
I absolutely couldnt have stayed here for more than 1 night . It's definately not a hotel where you relax , chill out after a day of shopping and watch movies in the room. But if you are out all day , not return to your hotel until 1am and leave again very early .. then you will survive one night.. If not please dont come here.
Okay .. the location is GREAT and I have to be honest .. i did find the staff very friendly.
But next time I visit KL I would pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.
