“OK not a restaurant i would recommend...”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

The ambiance was poor and the food was just OK.
We had no plans to eat there but we were at the airport and we did not have any other choice.
The seating was very bad and it was open with no air conditioner.

“A true passage through India”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Artistic setting, authentic tasting Indian food in Malaysia, PTI shows why it has stood the test of time in an ever changing F & B scene in KL.

Try the marinated lamb chops...you will not regret it. Nice one guys

“Great service, food and atmosphere”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

This staff will accommodate your every wish! It has a good-sized parking lot, which is unusual and nice. The food is really exceptional as well! Large selection. Their menu has special recommended dishes which are all incredible.

A few great menu items:
- Madras Bhajji (shredded onions with chili and corriander, deep fried)
- Murgh Tikka Butter Masala (aka "butter chicken", very nice tomato-y curry
- Roghan Josh (tender lamb cooked in 16 ingredients)
- Tadka Dal (yellow lentils with garlic, sauce for dipping!)
- Bendi Masala (ladies finger/okra)
- Eggplant... don't know the official name
- Plain Briyani Rice (one order for 1-3 people)
- Tandoori chicken, or anything from the tandoor
- Garlic naan, cheese naan, butter naan, take your pick

Love this place! And it's not touristy but is quite close to KLCC.

“Great Indian food (northern and southern)”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The food here was really great along with the service, the atmosphere was great too. The price was reasonable but no harm in paying a little extra for quality.

“Great up-market Indian, but not a rip off (like some)”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Food here is not cheap, but it's not as expensive as the Bombay Palace just down the road. But the food is usually extremely good (and better than most), served on a banana leaf (and now with an added banana leaf shaped dish underneath). The place also has rather eclectic Indian decoration reflecting the various regions of food it serves - very interesting and pleasant.

If you eat meat, the lamb ribs are very good, but there's lots of very good veggie dishes too. We took a friend here who normally does not eat much, and he couldn't get enough. It's now a regular haunt for our family and friends. If you need a good Indian dish when in KL, this upper-end restaurant is certainly worth it. There are lots of very good and more basic/cheaper Indian restaurants around also, but PTI is a really nice blend of comfort, food, atmosphere and service.
