The food is too salty and too much taste. i think they probably put in the a lot of oyster sauce. The waiteress keep asking us to eat lobster, fish, crab... the usual ordering style when you know these people wants you to order expensive stuffs. Not genuine people.

I was excited to go to this restaurant, in one of KL's most exclusive hotels, as I expected the dim sum would be world-class. Alas, this was not the case.

The dim sum was certainly adequate, but the chicken feet lacked flavour to me, as did the cheu cheung fan (apologies for bad spelling, I am a guai lou :P) A couple of the signature dishes, such as the Shanghai dumplings, were superb, but honestly, that did not make up for the overall average dim sum experience. I have had better dim sum lunches in cheap cafe's that cost a quarter of the price that this did.

Their menu looked superb, so perhaps an evening meal with select dishes would be a better experience, but I can't recommend the dim sum, not for the price paid, sorry!

Just the usual china town stuff. Wouldn't go there again. Once you have done one you have done them all.

Spent our lunch in Shanghai on departure day of our stay in JW Marriott.

Food were good, taste nice, good environment, not noisy, everybody tend to wear quite formally to dine there.
Big variety of menu ranges.
Prices are above average for this kind of hotel restaurant.
During this fullmoon festival season they have good mini mooncakes sold at RM9 per piece or RM11. RM25 for normal size double yolks lotus paste mooncake.

Give it a try. Not a bad choice.
