We stayed in KL for a weekend and needed to do a long training run for a marathon. We found this option and thought it would be a safe, fun way for two women to do our run so we chose the 21k route. It was an early morning start but we were so thankful for it the further we got into the run. We came from winter in Japan so our bodies were not used to the heat/humidity. Adrian does warn you of the hills on this course but they were a lot more than the hills we are used to doing. He was so encouraging and had such stamina! He was a great running partner. The only suggestion for improvement is more information about the areas we were running through during the run. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this to anyone coming through town. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise at the top of the "hill"! Truly a unique experience and a sweaty memory we will treasure.

Want to go run the city without getting lost?

The ultra marathoner Adrian took me on a tour through a city awakening from sleep adapting to my running pace. He allowed to stop for pictures and explained tourist sites as well as everyday life of KL.

Even though it is now the cooler season it was very hot and humid but Adrian knows where to get drinks on the way.

The website is easy and booking with PayPal works instantly. I did not get any mail confirmation - but as you can see it worked.

we were wondering what to do during our third stayover in KL! Friends told us about a new option to lose some calories (which we gained during our holiday in indonesia :-)) while exploring kl from a different perspective.
Since we were unsure about how our european bodys will take the heat of malaysia, we decided for the 10km-tour together with Colin. First of all, the heat was hot, but not a problem as he provided us with drinks at some convenience-stores we passed by. Our guide Colin was really nice, customized his speed to ours and shared the exciting knowledge of a KL-native! As stated before, it was not the first time in KL for us, but the tour provided us with a KL, that we didnt know form our previous tourist visits. In the end our guide gave us some hot restaurant recommendations so that we could load some calories in the evening.
All in all a great experience with a superb guide! Keep in mind that after running in KL you definitely have to take a shower.
