“Great atmosphere and value for money”

Fantastic satays and Murtabak.
Steak was succulent and tasty, sauces not so good.
Will definitely be back soon for another fix.

“Glad we tried”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

A friend of a friend recommended Suzi's and when we first pulled up outside we thought there must be a mistake as it does not look anything special at all. However the taxi driver was adamant this was the place and he also said it was good and popular. We ordered a range of Malay and Indian food and I must say it was all really tasty, and very cheap, plus cheap beer is served as well! Really good mix of people and a fun atmosphere.

“Great local spot with many choices”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

You can get anything here... Indian, Italian, American, Malaysian. The restaurant is all outdoors and it has good people watching because it attracts folks of all kinds. They serve alcohol and stay open late! I don't think they're open for lunch.

I recommend a "double cheese naan set" if you like cheese and naan (about 8-9 ringgit). it comes with small portions of: dal (lentils with garlic etc), spicy chicken and spicy potatoes. It's yummy.

The tandoori chicken was surprisingly moist and delicious!

I must say, the bathroom was deplorable on my visit. I will go back to Suzi's many more times, but I will do whatever I can do avoid the bathroom.

“Hidden gem, easy to miss”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Got the recommendation from an expat- glad I listened! I would not have dared to try it as the place looks pretty "rustic" with the sheet metal roofing and the worn plastic chairs. The big street intersection of Jalan Ampang is right next to it (so hang a left before you end up on the ring road).

The tenderloin is absolutely recommendable (and I spent the last 5 months in South Africa, so I know what a good steak can taste like). Make sure you order it on step "rarer" than usual as it comes on a hot iron plate (the "sizzler") and will keep cooking in from of you.

Don"t get confused as there is waiters from each Hawker stand- you have to look for the yellow "uniform" to order the steak.

So, don't tell anyone to keep it a secret :-)
