Great location at the train station- easy access to everything. Clean room, decent size with as usual everything you need provided. Easy access to the mall. Great water pressure in the shower and a comfy bed.

If you are carrying lots of luggage like us (coming in by train from a porcelain shopping spree in Arita), or are looking for a place to stay where you are well connected to buses, street cars and trains, this will be a great choice for you. The hotel is modern and super clean. There is a multi- storey shopping center next door with restaurants and fast food stalls. A great option I found is the one-day pass for street cars and for buses at 500 yen each that can be purchased on the street level of the station.

Just came back from 3 nights stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki. The hotel is conveniently located just few steps away from JR ticket gate (you can see the escalator up to the hotel when you exit the gate). We arrived slightly earlier than 2 pm check-in time and to our surprise, the hotel allowed us to check-in. Really appreciate this as we took red-eye flight and didn’t really have enough sleep. Receptionists were very helpful especially the young gentleman whom we did not manage to get his name. We requested for extra pillows and he personally delivered them to our room within 10 minutes.

Our room is located on the top floor at the most corner so we had a nice view of the harbor and Mount Inasa. Despite situated next to the station and there is construction around the station, the room is very quiet. We hardly heard anything. You can access eateries at Amu Plaza from 5th floor, highly recommend Menya Always for its ramen (we ate there twice!) and a soba restaurant called Horse which serves nice yakitori and delicious fried chicken.

Overall, pleasant stay and we highly recommend the hotel! There was Tokyo 2020 Olympics event at the station concourse when we were there so definitely we are very pleased!

I stayed two nights on the top floor of this excellent hotel. It is conveniently located above the JR station, and is a very short walk to taxis, the bus station, and (importantly for tourists) the tram. The hotel is also located above a very nice shopping mall. My quiet, modern, spacious room was comfortable and had a nice view of the Nagasaki harbor. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but only a few steps outside the lobby is the Royal Host restaurant, which apparently has an association with the hotel, and where the hotel breakfast is served; the food at the Royal Host was very good. The hotel staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The staff spoke little English, but due to English signage and the staff's attitude, this was not a problem. The large common area between the hotel and the train station gates serves as a Nagasaki "town green." While I was there (late November) I was able to see on successive nights a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with adorable singing schoolchildren, and the next night a concert by a well-known Japanese R&B singer. I will definitely say at this hotel on my next trips to Nagasaki. Very highly recommended.

Located in the Nagasaki station building it is most convenient.Transportation just within 2 minutes walk, train, bus, tram, taxi. spoiled for choice.Hotel is located on 2nd Floor of AMU Plaza with Bakery,mega-mart,department store located on ground floor,Fine dine restaurants on floors above.Multi-Bank ATM's across the entrance
In-spite of all this hustle and bustle, the room overlooking the bay/Port is quiet, serene with a view of the hills. Its beautiful in the night .
The size of the room is lavish. The beds are extra large (Absolutely Unlike other Japanese Hotels). The beds are extremely comfortable and the sheets are absolutely clean. The room is stocked with standard amenities. The sitting area is a wonderful luxury. The toilets are of adequate size and not small as any regular Japanese hotel
Me and my family just loved this hotel on our trip and would definitely love to stay here once again in the future

Room tip: Choose rooms facing the bayside/port side

Stayed on the top floor for the trip. Good view and loved the location and amenities around. It’s part of a mall which has plenty of food options on the restaurant floor. Short walk to the tram stop which offers easy travel around the city.
