It's hard to describe this museum as if I were reviewing a hostel. Basically, this museum is very important and although the subject is harsh and very upsetting it is a very necessary visit if you're a tourist in Japan. I'm stuck for words so all I can do is suggest you go as it documents a terrible and terrifying piece history from a perspective that I, as a Westerner, had an apparently very limited knowledge of.
