Hotel staff recommended this place and we were happy that we tried it.
We had seafood mix over rice, sweet and sour pork, shredded beef with bamboo shoot. All were so good. Sweet and sour pork was especially tasty and we couldn't have enough of it. We didn't get to try but we saw many customers were having champone as well.

Too costly for greasy noodles with bad taste. I still wonder why people queue.

I don't recommand this restaurant.

For a soup noodle that cost more than JPY1,000, they should/could do better.

1) The broth needs more thickness and strength. The soup seemed too light and the noodles seemed "over-boiled" but perhaps that is how "premium Nagasaki noodle" is supposed to taste. Anyway, it did not match "my" taste and expectation.

2) Waitresses asked me "how was the taste?" in a robot-like manner. They sounded like "I have to ask you because that's my job".

3) The sweet shripms was very fresh and impressive but I guess I got what I paid for (approx JPY 2000).

Overall, I would not go back considering the cost/benefit.

It is a restaurant located in China Town. The place was crowded, therefore I had to queue a little bit to find a spot to have lunch.

The place was very nice inside. I ordered Special Zaraudon, crispy noodles with vegetables and seafood. It was lovely, a huge dish of crispy noodles with lovely vegetables in a special sauce.

The price was correct, around 1500 yen. Totally recommended

Not that I have that many champon in my life but this is so far the best I've ever tried. I ordered special Champon.1,500¥ is quite pricey but the portion is really large that I can't finish the whole dish by myself. Maybe it's a wise idea to share it with someone.
Highly recommend for anyone that look for the real Nagasaki Champon.
