This is a hotel that offers rooms in an apartment style. It is located only a few minutes away from the green metro line (exit 4 is the closest to the hotel). The booking was done via their webpage. The manager was very polite and allowed us to check in before 10:00am. We booked a one-bedroom unit, which had a spacious WC, a fully equipped kitchen and a large room with queen bed. There was air conditioner, too, which is a must in Japan during winter (since Osaka, like many Japanese cities does not have central heating) or during June-September when the humidity is crazy. The hotel offers free wi-fi, but one should ask for a key at the reception.

Around the area there is not much to see: only a few stores. However, the proximity to the city center makes this place a very good value for money. If traveling often by subway, it's worth buying a daily card, which is even cheaper on for Friday/weekend travelings.

All in all, a good and reasonable alternative for expensive hotels, especially in traveling in groups.

Thank you very much for your stay.

We're glad to hear you.
Did you enjoy in Osaka?

You say you had a queen bed but we don't have queen bed. They should 2single beds in 1-Bedroom apartment. Free Wi-fi, neither. We have LAN cable in the room for free and just connect it own your laptop. You may have catched other's.

We will improve our service to make the guest be more satisfied.
We hope to see you again.

Best regards,

This hotel seems like it needs a bit of livening up but generally the rooms are fine. The bathroom looked like something from a 70s sci-fi film but was clean and in working order.

The location was good and you are close to most of the main attractions.

Japan is an expensive place but I'm sure we could have got somewhere a bit cheaper if we'd shopped around.

Thank you very much for your stay.

Did you had a good time at Weekly Mansion Otemae and in Osaka?
We're in business district but it takes about 15min. to Shinsaibashi, Namba and Umeda, and 30min. to Universal Studio Japan by train. The nearest station from hotel is 5min, on foot.
It's very easy to go to Kyoto and Kobe from Osaka station, so if you come to Osaka please stay here again.

Best regards,

A very cheap place to stay especially when there are more than 5 person travelling.
But this apartment is a bit run down.
Pro: there is a park nearby to view sakura, close to station and front desk are helpful.
Cons: run down and no cleaning service throughout your stay.

Thank you very much for your stay and your feedback. Since we have several room types and can accommodate up to 7 people, its suitable budget hotel to stay with a group or family. Now we have finished renovation and guest room got new furniture. So if you have any chance to come back to Osaka, please stay with us again (especially Sakura season, as you already know there are some famous places for Sakura nearby.) Thank you again for your stay and time.

My wife and I were groggy from our 15 hour flight to Osaka but our moods brightened when we checked into the Weekly Mansion, which we assumed was a 'youth hostel'. It turned out to be quite a neat little hotel. Having had the opportunity to stay in business hotels and rustic ryokans, we could say that this 'long-term' hotel was great value and served as home while we were temporarily homeless in Japan.

We stayed a week here while looking for an apartment to rent and we were quite pleased to come back each night. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially during a rice-cooker mishap in our room. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of bedding, as our duvets were a very fine quality. There must have been a miscommunication (on our part assumedly) as we were given a room with two single beds. No matter, though, because we pushed them together and we were saved from spending our nights Lucy and Ricky Ricardo-style.

We nicknamed the bathroom 'the lunar module' due to its size and plastic-industrial appearance but were able to wash and use the toilet quite comfortably and without a great deal of contortion. The hot plate was a bonus and allowed us to prepare simple meals in the evening.

It was a good transition place and would serve as a great hotel to stay in for a week or two. Great price and good location!

Thank you very much for your stay and feedback. We are glad to know that you enjoy your stay here for one week. In each room basic furniture and kitchen wear are prepared for long term stay, so it is very suitable for travelers to explore Osaka and Kansai area for weeks or so. We are sorry about miscommunication for the room, maybe our explanation was not good enough... And the bathroom in your room was little one, so for the guests from overseas might be bit funny or not very comfortable because of the size.. We are sorry about that. We have finished renovation (I'm afraid but 'the lunar module' has not changed much), so if you have any other chance to come back to Osaka, please stay with us again.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the weekly mansion Osaka at Otemae for 4 nights. Overall the hotel (apartment) was OK, it was clean, had a kitchen with cooking facilities which was quite handy. No breakfast was provided and rooms were not made up, bed linen was not changed, so from this regard the accommodation was a bit of a paine.
It reminded me of a hostel, but all accommodation in Japan could fit this description.

If you are looking for something cheap, acceptable and reasonably comfortable with no frills, this is the place to stay.

Osaka itself is quite a boring and an uninteresting place, I would probably base myself in Kyoto, which is where all the attractions are and maybe take a dat trip to Osaka, just to see the place.

Thank you very much for your stay. We are sorry to hear that your stay was not very pleasant enough. Probably our hotel is little bit unique from the other hotel in Japan. We do not offer breakfast or daily room cleaning service.. On the other hand we are trying to offer the room cheaper. We will re-consider constomer service once again. Thank you very much for your advice and time.
