Stayed in this hotel during the Mar 11 quake/ tsunami disaster, after moving westwards from tokyo to osaka. It was a nice little place with an outrageous facade lol! Staff was extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel amenities were pretty good, beyond what i expected - free drinks (though it dont taste that good :p), free wifi, and most amazingly, free IDD calls!

Room - it's what you will expect in japan, small but functional. nice shower too.

Location - slightly embarassed, took me awhile to figure out how to walk from the subway to the hotel. even though there was a simple map at the subway, still i couldnt figure it out! nonetheless, the location is fairly good, near the amazing dotonbori, and the nearby streets are lined with delicious little delis.

Price - with the overall experience, i have to say that the price is extremely reasonable and worth it!

Stayed here a few times. Professional and helpful staff in an excellent location. Just few minutes walk to Dotonbori, the main shopping/eating area of Osaka. Rooms are small but clean & hi-tech. Best for single travelers on the first trip to Osaka.

Stayed here in April for 2 nights, and it was fantastic!
A short walk from the subway lines, it was the perfect hub for our stay in Osaka. Located in the lively area of Dotonbori, there were plenty of bars near by (most with happy hours) and it was close to the shopping areas as well.

The hotel was excellent, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are to be expected in Japan and were small by ordinary standards, but you expect this. The free gifts (toiletries) for the ladies is a nice touch as well. We didnt use the free wi-fi, but there are 3 pc's in the lobby area and a printer which you can use. Also, we noticed and used, the phones in the lobby allow you a free 5 minute call anywhere in the world! So it was nice to call home to say HI! to our family! That was a nice touch. Also in this lobby there was free tea and coffee which was fantastic!

Overall a wonderful hotel and would definately stay here again!

My wife and I had been used to the high levels of customer service in Japan, but this place took us to a new level. A little gift for my wife on arrival, free, fast WiFi, free hot drinks in the lobby, tea making in the room - very important.
The location is great, just buzzing on Saturday night, but also good for subway connection and just 5 minutes stroll to the train line for Kansai airport.
The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the room rates are good value compared with other Japanese hotels.
The only negative - and I'm being very picky, is that the rooms have the world's smallest bathrooms. If I took a larger shoe size, I'd have to leave my feet outside. But the electric loos with heated seats, Aaaahh bliss!

A friend and I were traveling through Osaka recently and decided to stay here. The location is fantastic, easily accessible by foot and subway. Close to the shopping arcade and the awesome riverwalk, and with plenty of fun restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms are typical for a Japanese business-style hotel though I must say I was extremely disappointed with the barely-functional wifi. There was a bevy of helpful information available in the lobby, as well as free tea, phone calls, internet, (functional) wi-fi, and more - the day we were there they even had a sushi ceremony we were invited to. I think the fact that this place just fell short of being great drove me more nuts than if it had just been mediocre! Still, I'd definitely recommend it - even with the bizarro face-columns outside, haha.

I have given the best possible rating to this hotel and will definitely book my stay there again next time I go back to Osaka.

Perfect spot right next to the busy Dotonbori but quiet enough to feel like going home. Every little detail in the room and lounge to make you feel welcomed: bathroom and bedroom amenities, free n super quick wifi, computer and free printing, free coffee n tea...

It was our first ever trip to Japan, and having landed in Osaka, found this hotel a little tricky to get to. But once you're there, the hotel is in the heart of a lively strip. We had free PC hire and found the hotel comfortable. Service is polite and helpful and I thought for the price, it was fantastic value for money.
