There is so much to do around here, lots of shopping and eating. Its also a very "cool" place to hang out.

“Packed but good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

Packed with people! For my husband and I, that's part of the attraction but for those of you who are agoraphobic, you can avoid this place ;). It's still in overall an intriguing experience and there's tons of things to see, vendors to watch and foods to gawk at. Would recommend at least visiting this, at the very least for the people watching factor.

“Endless shopping strip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2014

Shinsaibashi is a famous shopping district of Osaka selling an indescribable amount of items. Most famous of these is the arcade which runs between Namba and Shinsaibashi. I would recommend visiting this place via combining it with Dotonbori, another Osaka landmark which stands at the end/start of the aracade (depending on what way you are going). Simply start at either Namba or Shinsaibashi train station and walk down the arcade until you reach the other end taking the train from that station to avoid tracing back.

“Eat & Shop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2014

Great place to cruise through and enjoy the sights, sounds and products. It is crowded but everyone is careful and polite (except maybe some tourists). Definitely worth a visit and FYI ASICS Kayano sports shoes are half the price of Australia, Daimaru has them.

“Covered shopping area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2014

From excellent restaurants, a large department store and many small speciality shops, Shinsaibashi is a perfect place to go and be protected from the weather. Although not a climate-controlled mall, Shinsaibashi protects the shoppers from rain and sun as you travel from shop to shop.
