A very long strip of shopping/sightseeing shops. You can start at Homachi Station, where the end is, and walk up to the end, coming out of Dotonbori, then straight again to Evisubashi up to Namba Parks. A whole day is probably enough if you don't go in the shops.
Very, very crowded. Mostly by locals.

This area pretty nice to shop, Tokyu hands has a big store there, nice covered shopping arcade, easy access from subway. Clean area.

This is a must see area in Osaka. There are plenty of areas to eat, shop and explore. The main shopping walkway is undercover and many side streets intersect this which are studded with great shopping and eating locations.

All types of shops in one area with a river at one end that you can take boat rides on. Very good eating places around the whole district. From cheap to expensive, there is something for everyone.

Busy in the quirky but fun Japanese way. Loads of eating places. Shops galore. Colourful. Great Xmas lighting. Great Kissaten(tea shop) next to Daimaru in covered shopping arcade about two shops from Longchamp. No smoking area is upstairs. Selection of teas including gyokoro, sencha and nice bean based nibblies. Quiet and peaceful.
