“Good customer service in a very convenient location”

Great location to explore the Kansai wide area. JR railway connection a 5min undercover walk, with subway access to the Umeda, Nishi-Umeda and Higashi-Umeda lines below the Hotel. Just 3 stations away from Shin-Osaka and the the Shinkansen. We used it as a base to explore Kyoto and Kobe as well, Kyoto just 30 min away via the JR line and Kobe 14 min away via Shinkansen. Typical Hilton amenities which are good and very good customer service as well. When there was a miscommunication with the bill on check out (they claimed they had not received payment from my internet agent), it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I'd skip the hotel restaurants for the excellent and much better value restaurants in the nearby centres such as Yodobashi, Daimaru and Hanshin.if you want to eat in the area.

Excellent service but generally quite tired, especially the rooms.
The location is excellent, right next to Osaka station.
Restaurants are ok but quite expensive.
I last came here five years ago and it hasn't changed in that whole time...needs an upgrade.

Don't let the name fool you, the moment that I step into the room, I was surprise to see furniture that were from 20 years ago. Even the bathroom was really disappointing. This is not what I expected. But the staff, was very nice to provide me a free wifi at my request.

On a recent family holiday, we travelled to Osaka from Kyoto by intercity train. So we preferred a hotel that allowed us to get to from Osaka station as quickly as possible with the kids and our baggage in tow. Leaving Osaka early in the morning several days later, we also wanted a hotel where the airport limousine bus stopped. For these, the Hilton Osaka ticked all the boxes for us. The hotel is connected to Osaka station via underground passages, so once we got our bearings, finding the hotel involved a minimum of fuss.

Beautifully decorated for the then-holiday season, the lobby was busy but quiet. The reception staff was professional and polite, and a special mention to Edouard (I hope the name's spelt correctly) who made us especially welcome on arrival. We had requested for our rooms to be away from the elevators and the hotel managed to accommodate our request. Rooms were a fairly good size and well lit. Instead of curtains, there were Japanese-style screens at the windows which I felt were an interesting twist but somehow didn't seem to really fit in with the decor. Trying to get the English-language channels on the TV was a little puzzling but we got it after a while. All in all, a little pricey but worth the extra for the convenience we were looking for.

Room Tip: The hotel's pretty much hemmed in by other tall buildings, so a room on a high floor gives a bet...

There are many advantages of the Hilton Osaka worth mentioning. But first and foremost is its convenience. The hotel sits right above the subway station and across the street is the JR line. If you need the bus to/from the Kansai International Airport, the Herbis Osaka is also opposite the Hilton where everyone gets on/off the bus. There is also a bus that shuttles to/from the Itami Domestic Airport, and is right behind the Hilton. So for people who love convenience this is the place.

Secondly, the rooms are rather spacious for a Japanese hotel though the toilet is a bit small. I guess this is also because we were upgraded to a Deluxe Room, hence, more space. However, the odor of new paint work and wood work is still evident as you walk through the hall to your room. I’m guessing the hotel has just been refurbished. Nevertheless, the rooms are very clean and the furniture looks new. Only small complaint is that the mattress and pillows are a bit too soft.

Thirdly, all staff at the front desk, concierge and Sky Lounge speaks English. Very important if you need directions or recommendations for dining, drinking shopping and sight-seeing. Other than that, we had to rely on Google Translator to communicate with staff at other venues, such as restaurants, shopping malls, subway/train stations etc.

Fourthly, the lobby is enveloped by a perfumed floral scent. A nice touch to a 5-star establishment.

All in all, this is a fantastic hotel and I would not hesitate to stay at the Hilton on my next trip to Osaka. Excellent work guys. Kudos to the management team.

Room Tip: Don't feel shy to ask for an upgrade. The Deluxe rooms have a nice new of the city.

We could hear a baby crying in the neighbour room as if we shared the same room. Otherwise, it is a fine Hilton hotel situated very close to the Osaka station. Nice training facilities. Cool furniture.

Location is very good, literally 2 minutes away from the Osaka Station and the staff were pleasant.

We booked the "Executive Room" which is a complete waste of money. The room was very average, the shower/bathroom was something closer to a 3 star motel and they charged an extra $17/day for in room internet connection... but is free in the "Executive Lounge".

Having spent the previous few nights being impressed by the Imperial hotel, was expecting the Hilton to be amazing as it was almost double the price. It was closer to an 80s B grade hotel.

Room Tip: Executive Room is a waste of money
