We booked the hotel with some discount cause a friend works for Intercontinental group. So the price is acceptable compare with the other 5-star hotels in either Namba or Osaka station area.
Frankly speaking, the location of the hotel is not quite convenient. 10-15 minutes by car to Osaka station, 5-10 minutes walking distance to the nearest Metro line. So this is the most we concerned before booking it. However, the hotel provides shuttle bus between Osaka station and the hotel every 30 minutes. We stayed two nights and used the shuttle bus more than 5 times i think. And walking to the nearest Metro station, you have to cross the river and walk two blocks. Not very farawary, and you have some nice historical building to visit.
The room is quite spacious, clean and well maintained.
We loved the hotel and maybe will take it again next time.

There is a cheap grocery store called foodium ablout 100 yards away. Shuut
E buss to jr osaka station every 30 mins. For the men, at night you can see pretty call girls at work in the clubs that charge a arm and half you body not leg...6000 yen for 30 mins pr 9000 yen hr for a pretty girl sitting next to you and drinking with her. Not as bad as a 3 min 40-50 usd strip dance. We got room facing river, big. Double bed. Hotwire 130$ a night. Jr railway 4 min walk, mrt 10 min walk. Tons of resto all around. From fast food to high end. Their s a sunkus. Like a 7-11 across the street

This modern hotel is situated close to a major road in the center of Osaka; despite the traffic the rooms are very quiet and you don't hear any noice !
The lobby is modern, large and very nice; Staff at check-in very professional and fast.
Rooms are big enough, bathroom excellent, well equipped. Everything is very clean and although the furniture is not new, everything is very well maintained.
We took a club room which gave us access to the club lounge. Not the same level as in the Intercontinental hotels, but OK and very friendly staff. Breakfast very good and complete.
Bed very good, room very quiet, so very good for sleeping.
Only minor poit: almost no english channels on the television; a pitty for an international hotel.
But for the rest of it: certainly highly recommended !
