We joined a 12 day tour visiting South Korea and Japan, staying in 4-5 star hotels. This one came out the best ! Its room is spacious. The bed, doona and pillows are so comfortable. Bath towels are soft and thick. Toiletries are high quality and generous. There's free WiFi in the room. Location wise, it is walking distance to Oebashi train station. If you don't have to be in downtown Osaka, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

Excellent value for money, this hotel overlooks the Dojima River and has sweeping views of the City without being in the midst of its madness. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean.
There is a free hotel shuttle bus which takes guests to Osaka Station which is about a 15 minute walk away.
There are lots of local shops and good value places to eat.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

A very nice hotel away from the craziness of the city centre. Very good, efficient service and friendly staff.

The room (a club room) is quite large (at least larger than expected!) and well designed. It comfortably fits the extra bed, and still have a bit of room for us to move around.

The hotel itself is a little out side of the main Osaka Station area (about 15 min walk), but there is a regular shuttle service to Osaka Station. The hotel website provides a very clear guide of how to get to the hotel (and the location of the shuttle bus stop at Osaka Station).

There are plenty of local shops and restaurants in the streets near the hotel, as well as a convenience store just across the street. You definitely don't have to worry about going hungry!

We booked a club room (without breakfast), but to our pleasant surprise, a simple but more than adequate complimentary breakfast buffet is provided to guests on the club floors. The buffet consisted of Japanese and Western breakfast.

Very efficient checking and out & best of all, free Wi-fi in room.

It is not real convenient to my normal travel schedule in Japan. For hotels though, I do prefer Osaka to Kyoto. This is a good one, slightly off the beaten path. If you don't mind walking and following a map, this is a great place to stay.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 2 nights and were made to feel special from our arrival. Check in was incredibly friendly and welcoming and gave the impression of a slick hotel that knew what it was doing. Ideal location with amazing views if you are on a high floor.

The only odd thing was having to pay 1,500 yen each to swim in the pool. Seemed to against everything else in the hotel and a bit penny pinching. Why not just hide the charge in the cost of the room and not risk some bad feeling from guests. We only used it once as I am sure most guests do.
