“Great Price!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

This Ritz Carlton has a great price and number 1 customer service! I stayed on the 39th floor and we showed up early and had to head to a meeting and they didn't have rooms ready yet but got me into one to change and iron my clothing really fast. Very impressed! The turn down items were excellent! Great place for business! The restaurant at the hotel on the 5th floor is excellent as well but really far walk from the elevator!

Room Tip: Breakfast at this hotel is superb!

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Osaka for six nights on business. This is a big city beautiful hotel. Do not expect resort amenities, but the types of high class service you would expect in a big city. There are enough restaurants to provide a variety of choices for any diner. The only service issue I encountered, was when I ordered breakfast through room service one day. The hotel had filled overnight and they seemed completely caught off guard even though the crowds were expected. The breakfast was very late and the order was wrong in several ways. They took the charge off my bill and that night when I arrived back there was an overly apologetic note, treats and fruit. The next morning I ordered the same breakfast and it was perfect.

The rooms are very large by any standard, but especially when compared to other Asian hotels. The service is exemplary and everything is kept very clean. The rooms include separate shower and tub. The complementary shoe shine service returned my shoes looking brand new.

We utilized the concierge for a variety of services. They steered us well for dinner reservations and also were a great help advising us how to use the only few hours we had for sightseeing.

Overall, it is a great place to stay. It is conveniently located with the trains nearby, taxis readily available and easy to walk to many places including great shopping and restaurants.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Carlton Osaka this week for business. Overall, a wonderful experience. Exceptional service accross the board. Even though the hotel was at full capacity during my stay, there was no degradation in the level of attentiveness or responsiveness. The club lounge on the 34th floor was a true oasis, with an extremely attentive and helpful group of dedicated staff. My room was spacious, quiet, and in fantastic condition. Food was consistently good, and they have 6 or so restaurants to choose from (or order room service from). I highly recommend for business or pleasure.

I was extremely impressed with the service at this hotel, and generally very happy with everything. Check in was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel, they knew who I was and had my key ready to hand when I arrived. I don't use the word "sumptuous" often, but it's the best word to describe the lobby decor. This is a beautiful hotel by any standard. The room was extremely comfortable, spacious and elegant, and I had no problems. Internet speeds were very good, and there was free wifi in the lobby, which was a nice touch. In general, if you're willing to pay for it, this place will not disappoint.

I was in Japan on a business trip . First time at this hotel in Japan
Very good hotel /. Good service / Excellent concierge desk
2 points that they can improve:
They should offered transfer from and to the airport
They should cancel the fee at the bar after 19:00

I had the pleasure of a stay at the Ritz-Carlton. Fully satisfied on every aspect. Rooms facing north may somehow hear trains, but the view is particularly pleasant. Lobby and ground floor display very raffinated decorations -a true pleasure for eyes and spirit. Staff is willing to run the extra mile and fully accustomed to English speaking guests. Very nice Bar with live musicians (very good performers, unfortunately with partially dubbed music). Pleasant room, with very comfortable bed and armchairs. Kinds shuttle to the Bus Terminal stop -with the driver helping you making tickets: a small detail, that prolongues the perception of "they care for me" that the whole Hotel offers. Room and stay value are definitely good (somehow like regular 5 stars hotels in Japan, for Superior/De Luxe Rooms) -high charging for dining and other services.
The "Splendido" restaurant offers superp Italian cuisine, with some respectful innovations in an environment that seems to attract rather young Customers (in their 30s). The maitre is clearly having tight control on guests' comfort -he's been the star of the Hotel, to me.
I may only point out one fact, for western travellers: this excellent hotel has classic Ritz-Carlton wood, lamps, furnitures (mostly empire or late empire style) - if you look for contemporary design or Japanese style, this is not the place.

I stayed several hotels in Osaka but this is by far the best in Osaka. It is conveniently located near the Umeda District where you can enjoy high end restaurants. With a corporate rate, I think this hotel is very competitively priced.
