Tempozan Ferris Wheel

This is a great way to experience the view of Osaka from a unique vantage point. Close to Tempozan, the smallest mountain in Japan (perhaps the world!?) it is a great mood bringer-upper after the inevitable disappointment that the starfish-deficient Kaiyukan brings. They need to get it together, but this ferris wheel has got it going on!

View was good but it doesn't give the ''woah'' effect. Perhaps it will be better to visit the ferris wheel at night. However, if you like Winnie the Pooh, you should wait for the one with Pooh-San inside.

After visiting the aquarium next door I decided to take a ride on the Ferris wheel. There was no line up the day I went & I had a cabin to myself. There is English commentary as you go around & the ride takes about 20 minutes to complete. I had a clear sunny day so the view was fantastic & I took some great photos! There are a couple of glass bottom cabins on the Ferris wheel.

Decided to take a ride since it was next to the aquarium and there was no queue, so got the whole capsule. The wheel gives you a nice view of the Osaka bay area and especially the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. A revolution is about 15-20mins and quite enjoyable. After your ride, you can head into the connected mall and have some nice food at the Japanese food alley beside the food court, which didn’t have particularly good food.
