Didn't think much of this hotel. The room I had was very small, not enough space to layout my suitcase properly or move around easily. The bathroom was also tiny - I couldn't even stand up fully. The bed was very hard as well. There are a multiple restaurants available which was good to get some variety and the internet was free and fast. I have stayed in much better hotels else where in Osaka for the same price.

Room Tip: Go for the biggest room you can afford. The smaller ones are VERY small.

We stayed at this conveniently located hotel prior to golden week on a Saturday night. The rooms were extremely small even by Japanese's standards. This might be ok for a solo traveller but not for two with luggage. Unfortunately the Air conditioner didn't work appropriately and the beds were astonishingly hard, not making for a great nights sleep.

I had low expectations from this hotel, after staying at another APA hotel in Tokyo, which didn't meet my expectations. This time, it was better. The room was a bit larger than the one I had in Tokyo, and the bed was comfortable. But still - the room is very small and there is access to the bed from one side only. The public hot bath is nice.

The location of the hotel is located at C3 exit of Higobashi subway station. This exit does not have a escalator nor lift to help you on your luggage. Can consider using exit C2 instead when you having your luggage rather than backpack, even though this exit also does not have escalator or lift but it has a shorter stairs to climb. If you are using backpack then no issue to use C3 exit. Once out of the exit cross the road by making use of the traffic light. It comes with basic facilities is the room is similar to other cities hotel (which mean nothing like what you expected as a Japanese style room). The room is small and so is the toilet. However, the room does come with television but not safe deposit box (if you need either of this or both). The room does have a fridge for use. There is no specific cupboard, however it does has a space for hanging clothing. The hotel does have an elevator. It also allows free storage of your luggage. It has a quiet environment for a good night rest. The one of the subway Station Higobashi exit is directly in front of the hotel. There are a few convenience stores near to the hotel. The hotel lobby and room come with free wifi. The spa or public bath area is much smaller than its sister hotel in Kyoto. It has an indoor pool. The hotel also has more floor then its sister hotel in Kyoto which translate to more people using the public bath area. BTW, there is always queue at the reception counter. So only morning say around 9am then you will see no queue. This is when you can ask for information if you required.

Room Tip: The Public Bath is on level 2. This hotel has many floors. You can decide on which floor to stay bas...

The room was modern and comfortable but small even for Japanese standards. I'm sure I could reach all walls of the room from the bed. The location isn't bad. It is only 1 subway stop from Umeda and about 3 stops from Namba. There is a small underground arcade with a few restaurants about a block down but other than that the area has mostly office buildings. The staff were helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay.

This hotel mainly sells itself on the public bath, and on arrival I found out why. The rooms are exceptionally small, and sharing a room with your spouse tends to involve a lot of shuffling around to try and get your suitcases in and even partially unpacked. It would be fine for a single person, but it is just too crowded in the rooms for a couple or a family. That said, the hotel is clean (though a little old), the service was good, and the buffet was fine and offered a nice enough balcony view of the city.
