Terrific location, in the middle of everything. Very close to the subway with direct connection to Shinkansen Railway Station. Clean, comfortable and cheap: what else?

This is my third time in Osaka, I considered this hotel the best location compared to previous hotels I'd stayed. The hotel is very convenient for travelers, just 2 mins walk from nearest subway station and the main shopping street is just 10 steps walk from the hotel plus variety of restaurants and bars are like fish in the ocean. Don't have to talk much about the room because most of Hotels in Japan's main cities is normally really small and nothing much different for business hotel like this one. The breakfast is okay, room is clean enough, overall this hotel is quite new and not so expensive for this location.

This hotel is compact and basic therefore was a great place to crash after a long day exploring. The room was small but clean (like every hotel stayed in in Japan) but I found the room quite hot. Also the view was abit lame - brick wall about 30cm from the window! The compliamentry breakfast was nice - primarily Japanese style (fish rice etc). But the best thing about this hotel was the location. Right in the heart of Shinsaibashi therefore great for shopping and a pleasant walk from Namba for food and nightlife. Would recommend for people wanting to explore Osaka.

We arrived at Hotel Villa Fontaine after a long flight and it was a great place to crash! Room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. It was hot in the room through - the air conditioner didn't really have must impact! Location was fantasic, felt right in the middle of it all and short work from the main strip for restaurants and bars. Breakfast was good, mostly Japanese so got thrown in the deep end a bit! Staff were friendly and helpful - I think they took pity on us and found us a room to check in early as we must have looked exhausted! If you go to Osaka, find the Hep 5 building - the one with the ferris wheel on top - crazy! The museum and castle were also great.
