Read the reviews here and decided we must come along and try the Okonomiyaki ‘pankakes’.
The atmosphere was great, but of jazz with a buzz from the restaurant and staff calling out to each other.
We had salads, edemame (best we’ve had anywhere), the Okonomiyake, Shrimp and Avocado salad and I had to have waffles for desert.
The food, service and whole experience was great. The only minor (and I mean MINOR) point was the waffles were a bit on the crispy side.
Food seemed cheaper than I expect for this quality of food and atmosphere too.
Only staying in Kyoto for 5 nights, but we’ve already decided what we’re having when we come back in the next couple of days. Says a lot as I generally like to try new things!!!
