A well-appointed teppanyaki-style restaurant in Pontocho that had us at Wagyu. Good thing we opted to share, albeit quite tasty and perfectly cooked to our specified doneness, I could only take so much of the intensely marbled beef sirloin. A side of grilled vegetables and seared tuna is recommended to tone down the richness. The yuzu sorbet was perhaps the perfect end to our meal.
Found at the basement with no view to speak of but the simple but tasteful modern décor made up for the enclosed room.
Service was ok, but we were one of two tables occupied that night.
