Good food and value for lunch. Four of us for about $45. Food was really good and very nice interior. We will be back. We had to wait about 30 minutes on a Sunday.

Greeted with nice window show outside the restaurant, so as the warm ambience inside. Have to take your shoes off and keep in the keyed locker. Good taste of original soy sauce, esp. dipped with shabu tofu, minced and sliced pork, not too salty. Followed by Shasimi and Tempura, really good.

Had few business meetings and some good discussions with customer. So decided to drink and early dinner with my boss.

This restaurant is just minute away from bullet train station so very convenient to access Shinkansen even if you are drunk.

Its clean and good lighting so looks specious and not typical station side cramped restaurant.

Ordered few drinks and quick bites, pickles and snacks. Avocado mentaiai was nice salad like dish. Ordered 2-3 times.

After many round if drink and enough dinner paid 10800 yen for 2 so it is reasonable.

At the Kyoto train station, there are many good restaurants, but we decided to try this one. The set-up is very Japanese and offer a variety of Japanese foods, but we wanted to try their specialty, which is sushi.

First up, we had simmered vegetables and steamed tofu with soy sauce - a good appetizer to warm up our stomachs. Then we had the soy-sauce fried chicken, very tender and not oily. We tried an assortment of sushi from the raw ones to the cooked. The sashimi were really fresh and the wasabi complements everything. It was really good!

Visited in March 2015 with a group of family and friends.

This is a chain restaurant so I think you can almost find this anywhere.

You can find any type of Japanese food in here, from sashimi to udon. Dont bother if you are a big group. This place can accmmodate it. They have English menu too. I ordered the cheapest Sashimi Moriawase (3types of fish, 2slice each) and Unadon (grilled eel on top of rice), those were superb. The price also quite affordable. Try it. It is located on east of Kyoto Station on 2nd floor.
