I go to Japan to eat japanese food breakfast, lunch and dinner but my travel mate this trip grew a little weary of it and besides she smoked which is not allowed on the street in Kyoto or most anywhere else. She abandoned me to wander and find her desires: a place to smoke and American food. She found Cafe Colorado across the street from KYOTO CENTRAL TRAIN STATION, full of Japanese people, smoking and punching laptops (free wifi). She begged me to return with her and I found it to be a great anti-tourist spot. I mean, they were very nice, especially after we became regulars, but no other tourists were in there. The cinnamon toast is just like your mother used to make and what they do to coffee almost constitutes a Kama Sutra of Coffee.
