Since I am a udon lover, I had to visit Kendonya handmade udon noodle restaurant after seeing the Fushiyama Inari Shrine. Be careful as the restaurant closes at 6PM!
I took a chicken broil with udon, cheap and delicious, I wish I could teleport there whenever I crave udon!

Very delicious Udon restaurant with extremely friendly service. Karage chicken was cripsy and delicious. The cold Udon were bouncy and tasty!

Tried this udon shop near Fushimi Inari taisha. We had the summer specials: COLD udon. And it was delicious!! The udon or soba is handmade so its really chewy. Everything for around 1000¥ or less and there was no wait when we went, around 1pm.

Service is great!

No wifi but there is free public wifi.

From the shrine you need to walk pass two railroad crossings before you get to the restaurant. Few tables so it might be queue.

We ate their homemade noddles with pork and with chicken. Both very tasty. My wife tried the cold noodles. Also very tasty. Final bill, one of the lowest in our whole stay. Worth visiting.

We found this gem while visiting the Fushimi Inari area. We ordered the set meals that included cold/hot udon and oyako-don (scrambled egg and chicken over rice), and they were all excellent! The udon is “chewy” (in a good way that’s associated with handmade udon). We arrived at around 11:30am and waited for 5 mins. Great place to go for lunch before/after your trip to Fushimi Inari Taisha!
