We spent two nights here recently for a short visit to Kyoto. The hotel has an attractive lobby and gift shop and offers shuttle service from the south side of the Kyoto Station (look for a brown van near the McDonalds). The hotel's location is otherwise out of the way; the only nearby attraction is the Nishi-Honganji Temple, and there are no nearby subway or local train routes. Rooms are small, typical for Japanese business grade hotels, but clean. Location is protected from traffic noise. We paid 25,826 yen for a double room with a king size bed.
