Owner description: "GEAR” is the first non-verbal performance originated in Japan. The world-class performers of mime, breakin', magic trick, and juggle presents a lovely story of a toy named “Doll” transforming a human girl through the various communications with an android named “Roboroid.”This performance is set without any “words,” just being compounded with the action, dance, expression, music, and images satisfying all the senses. And also, this performance is filled with the exciting materials. Stage setting gives an illusion loosing the way in the factory, or feeling like blown off by a gust of wind. And the contemporary technologies like the projection mapping, sparkling full colored LED dresses, and specially customized laser beams with 16million colors present everyone inexperienced impressions. Since started in the April 2014, this performance had a long run of 600 times and 30,000 audiences.

When I heard "non verbal performance" I could not figure it out but my friends strongly recommended so I went. It was just overwhelming. It is a combination of street-dance, magic, break dance and more. I will not tell you about the story as that would dilute your enjoyment. Their costumes and stage setting are not traditional Japanese but the way all the performers danced together and collaborate was very Japanese. The performance is about 1 hour. I am sure that you that you will get more than what you paid for!
