After walking up and down Pontocho for 1 hour trying to find a restaurant listed on Lonely Planet, we finally gave up and looked at the menu for Mimasuya. Looked interesting so we decided to go in. We were seated upstairs overlooking the water. The food was just as good as it sounded on the menu - fried eggplant balls, crispy fried pumpkin and chicken, marinated tuna, even the grilled soybeans were good. The dessert was to die for - Chocolate banana mousse and chocolate cake. The dishes were smaller, somewhat like tapas, but delicious, innovated and affordable.
