Or 1 subway stop ( station on corner) busses stop on street. great staff, convenient location for exploring, convience stores for stocking kitchenett & changing currency ( with creditcard), many restaurants walking distance, white, light decor. Great beds & bedding, good amenities, desk, sitting area, good internet. Very comfortable

We travelled to Japan on a 10 day holiday spending 6 nights of those at the Citadines in Kyoto. We were greeted as if we were old friends, treated with respect and all our needs were met. The room was clean, a good size, beds were comfortable and we were left wanting for nothing. We used the laundry facilities which were easy to use. The location was about 1km from the Kyoto station, and easy walk or there was a subway stop only 50 metres from the hotel entrance. Overall I would stay here again without hesitation.
We stayed here for two nights during the height of Cherry Blossom season so not a ton of affordable options. It was just okay. Easy to get to/from the train station, but no where near all the main sites and restaurants. Tiny bathroom, didn't use the kitchenette, decent bed, and friendly staff. Nothing was terrible, it was just not nice enough for a return visit.
We had two rooms and both were spacious. About 15-20 mins walk to Kyoto station. We visited during Gion festival and hotel is not far from the happenings of Gion festival. Next to hotel had a great soba restaurant too. Breakfast was good too. Clean rooms.
Really happy with our stay. Not the most perfect location - but we definitely got more 'bang for our buck' staying here than if we'd stayed more centrally.
We walked a LOT - and got most places this way - with public transport for the further out places (buses and metro).
We really liked having the extra space and the kitchenette area - we didn't cook here at all, but it was nice to be able to have a snack and the fridge.
Would happily stay here again.
We stayed here for 4nights and it was a comfortable stay. This hotel is really good value for money as its comfortable and clean. The bathroom is a little on the smaller side. But as you are out most of the day site seeing its serves its purpose.
The beds are really comfortable.
It has great transport links to all the main attractions.
The hotel reception were very helpful in advising us of restaurants and how to get to places.
