We found this restaurant simply by walking down Nishikikoji-dori and checking the side streets. It looked quite nice from the outside and were told it had fish, sashimi, tempura etc. You can eat by the bar, on the floor as well as on lowered tables (so you sit normally, only the floor is lower). The waiter was very helpful to guide us through the all-japanese menu, and gave us excellent recommendations on which sashimi and tempura dishes to try. Note, they speak very limited english, but if you know a little about japanese cooking, it's no problem. We had tried a few of the restaurants recommended in Lonely Planet, and had found them to be quite boring, with old menus and rather uninteresting food. Uroko was new and modern, yet very japanese.
