While all the reviews suggested we should be ordering noodles, we found the sashimi and a la carte menu fantastic. The service was great. Traditional tatami mat set up - though you can sit at the counter. There is also an english menu.
This is listed in Lonely Planet, so I was expecting it to be full of westerners, but we were pleasantly surprised. It had a great local feel to it. Glad we booked as it was pretty full on arrival.
The last order was called a little after 9pm, so best not to head here for a late dinner after a day of site seeing.
