Located very close to the higashiyama subway stop this hotel is in walking distance to many of the Kyotos main sights. You also have the option to use the bus or subway line. The rooms are clean with AC. Towels and bed linen only changed every third day (which we didn't mind). Beds are a little too hard for my liking. The hotel has a nice common area which gives it a little hostel feeling. Here there are complementary coffee and also water boiler and a microwave, so even if the breakfast is only 3 small buns, you can buy cereals/noodles/sandwiches from convenient stores that are nearby and eat here if you like.
A little hard to find the first time you arrive so it is recommended to print out a map or watch the video on their website on how to find the place. After you know where it is, you will love the location. Many nice small restaurants and izakayas in the neighborhood.
