Having stayed at other highly rated hotels in Kobe, the Oriental outshines them all. It has a luxury boutique feel about it but offers the full range of services that you would expect from a five star establishment.

The staff are uniformly excellent, the restaurants and bar are very enticing, my room was comfortable, the view was magnificent (looking out towards Osaka Bay) and the location for getting around Kobe is perfect. I found not the slightest thing to complain about.

Well worth the money. Excellent location, staff and facilities. Will stay there again if we get the chance. A 5-10 minute walk from the train station. We sent our suitcases via the Black Cat delivery system (also excellent)
Great pre-cruise hotel for those looking for comfort, location and port convenience.

Stayed at the Oriental twice in 5 days, in between trips to Kyoto and Nagasaki, a hotel which had a relaxed feeling despite the first rate service.
Rooms are large for Japan, comfortable beds, nespresso machines and a free minibar on the exec floor. The gym is small but has the equipment you need for a holiday workout.
Breakfast stood out as the best we had on our trip, try the eggs benedict and the dim sum.
Will definitely be returning here on our next time in Kobe, superb stay.
