I recommend this hotel!!This hotel is very clean. The things most like is amenity set!! It's very cool design. And also good location.The room is very relaxable, very quiet. This hotel was worth the price.

All reviews superb hotel terrace bar restaurant reservations spent nights sannomiya station within walking distance breakfast spread osaka bay cruise terminal shopping and restaurants excellent view hotel is located family mart convenient location floor japan english

The hotel is good ... with an efficient staff, clean and spacious room. The breakfast seating is a little odd, but if that is the only issue .. it was really compensated by the rest!

The hotel seems to have a strange breakfast queuing system. Perhaps they don’t have the capacity to accommodate all the guests at breakfast time but they seem to make people queue for breakfast even though there are tables available inside. Some people were forced to eat at the counter of the bar. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel is lovely and the staff are so helpful. They must be able to do this better?
The lady at the shop on the ground floor is so helpful, she seems to be doing other people’s jobs (working as a porter, receptionist etc)as well as her own, I hope she is being recognised by the hotel management.

The Oriental is an excellent luxury hotel presented in a traditional classic style that provides you with everything you would expect from a hotel of its class. We went in expecting luxury, and we were not disappointed.
All the details of the hotel, from the lobby to the room details, reflect the very highest quality. Polite professional staff, spacious rooms, beautiful and intricate décor, a delicious breakfast, and all offered for relatively reasonable rates in an atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. That last point is perhaps the greatest compliment we can offer – the hotel anticipates and provides everything with such efficiency and quality that you immediately feel comfortable staying here.
In all respects, this truly is a top class hotel.

It is hard to fault this hotel. Great location, beautiful rooms, 5 star service and superb breakfast buffet. Tasteful, but not over the top. Traditional but with a modern twist. And a good bar on the top floor. I would not stay anywhere else in Kobe, which is also a lovely city that is somewhat off the beaten track for tourists, but well worth a visit.
Room tip: Harbour views are good, but the other side has mountains - all good.

this was a great hotel. 5 star service, great breakfast buffet - both Japanese and Western selections, nice bedroom and bathroom. There was just enough English being spoken at the hotel to get by. The staff that spoke little or no English bent over backwards to help us and make sure we understood the answers to our questions. LOVED this hotel. Maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the Sannomiya station. The staff were outstanding!
