To me this ryokan was not a ryokan except that you sleep on the floor. We did more ryokans during our stay in Japan and thisone was the one we liked the least... The room was extremely small, when putting the luggage you could barely move aound. A lot of streetnoise at night, cold coming from the window which made the airconditionning working inefficiently. It is tue, the location is perfect, very close to streetcar and peace museum and the owner is indeed very nice, so if you want a cheap option and like backpackers stile hostels, this is probably your thing, but don't look for a charmy ryokan.
