Trendy modern hotel. Rooms are slightly smallish but very clean. Very quiet considering the location. We were also fortunate to have a good view of the city and river.

Highly recommended hotel for couples and business travelers. Seems newly renovated and has all the high-tech amenities that you would expect from a Japanese hotel. It is near the main JR station, overlooking the river. The restaurant was closed when I stayed there but the price was very reasonable even though breakfast was not included. Did not stay long enough to judge the service but they seemed helpful enough at the front desk. The room was small (typical double room size for a Japanese urban hotel of this category) but was clean and very modern.

A short walk from Hiroshima station, Hotel FLEX offered us a stylish, modern room in a river-side location. Twin room had ample space, and a European-sized bathtub! An easy walk to all the main Hiroshima attractions.

Very friendly staff, three internet stations and a good-sized room combined to make a great base for us in Hiroshima. Only downside; air-conditioning not the best. Excellent value for money.

We stayed in a twin room at Hotel Flex. The room was quite nice and modern but small as usual in Japan. The twin beds are just singles so with our child we wondered if we should go back down and ask for a triple. There was a fold out couch so my husband went down and asked if we could use that. The male receptionist who spoke good english said they usually charge extra to use the foldout but gave us an extra sheet, blanket and pillow for her at no charge.
I must say when the couch was folded out there was near no room to move but we managed.
The bathroom was the usual small size but there was everything you needed.
I loved that our window looked out to the river and all the action below.
The location is great, right by the river and we found the place quite easilly. It is just a 10 min walk from the station.
Just remember you have to walk over the overbridge and its just on the other side.
We enjoyed Hiroshima as it is less hectic than Osaka and Tokyo.

We booked the hotel directly from their site and paid 7500 Yen per night.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the station. When you go out of the station walk towards Lawson/postoffice and go straight on. You will have to cross a bridge. From there you should see on your right side tall buildings (JAL). One of it is the hotel. The lobby and building looks very fancy from the outside. There are 2 computers available downstairs to go online for FREE! The staff was friendly.

Our double room looks modern, but was tiny. There was no space to walk/turn. The bed was not that comfortable as we felt the springs. It was equipped with the standard things, tv with Japanese channels, small fridge, standard small japanese bathroom. Our room had a nice view (see pics). The room is ok considering the price and location.

There is not much around the hotel. A family Mart convenient store is behind it and opposite of the hotel is a restaurant. It is about a 20 minute walk to the peace park, so you are better off taking a bus. There is a department store near the hotel (more near the station). Great place to stay if you are planning to go for a daytrip to Miyajima Island, because it is close to the train station.

Hotel Flex is a business hotel located very close to Hiroshima train station. It's fairly no frills, but a perfectly adequate base for one or two night's in Hiroshima.

Our twin room was a decent size by japanese standards. It had a small table and chairs and a separate desk where there was a LAN connection that was free to use. I was perfectly happy with this budget option and would stay here again.

It's an easy walk to the tram stop at the station, from where it's about a 20 minute ride to the Peace Park and museum. This is a must-see when you are in Hiroshima. In fact, it's a must-see full stop. It will be the most horrific museum you have ever been to, but also the most inspiring.

It's also about a 20 minute walk to the main drag of restaurants and bars, although there is a pretty row of riverside restaurants just a 5 minute walk from the hotel as well.

Stayed in a double room for three nights. Like the rest of the hotel, rooms are nice and modern, and very clean. Beware though that rooms are also very small, like many Japanese mid-range hotels!

Rooms feature a comfortable bed, television (local channels only), tea making facilities, nice bathroom and wireless capability. Like another reviewer, the wireless network on my floor would never work. Oh well. There are computers on the first floor if needed.

The hotel is very close to Hiroshima station, making it ideal for those arriving by train. You can easily walk into the city centre (for attractions like the atomic bomb museum, peace park, Hondori shopping arcade, etc) or trams are 150yen per journey anywhere in the city. There is also a convenience store close to the hotel; like all Japanese convenience stores, it sells just about everything imaginable, from food to alcohol, cigarettes, stationery, stockings, etc!

Staff are pleasant and unobtrusive. I speak Japanese so I'm not sure if the staff can speak much English. The hotel is closed for a few days at the end of year.

I'd recommend this hotel for anyone. It provides great comfort and value for money; just be aware that the rooms are small by foreign standards.
