The hotel is located just a few minutes walk away from the A bomb dome and Peace Park in Hiroshima, and provides a comfortable and economical place to stay. I would characterize it as a business hotel in terms of lodging comfort. The hotel is also located just off a closed shopping arcade with restaurants and convenience stores. There isn't really much English spoken, but information for guests is printed in English. Rooms have TV, private bath, Yukata and slippers, radio and tea/coffee facilities. Only a block or so away from the main tram lines. Day trippers from elsewhere be warned - check in is relatively late at 4pm, and check out is early at 10am. If you take the breakfast, it is a good spread laid out in the adjoining cafe. It is also known as the Hiroshima Prefectural Culture Center, or something like that, but which is the name displayed more prominently outside the building. I would stay here again.
