Linked to JR of only one minute walking distance and close to most department stores and many good and variety of restaurants. Odori park /station is by 20 mins walk from the hotel.
Booked a single room and pay ¥500 extra per night to change to a room at ladies floor, breakfast included as well, with basic DHC amenities.
The hotel building shares with a publication company, I guess, therefore the front desk is located at 7/F and the room card is required at the elevator to go to the room.
The restaurant for breakfast is crowded, limited space that you can hardly move after you sit down. Food is average but even the restaurant is small it does offer various dishes that I did't get bored even I went there to have breakfast for consecutive five days.
Room is tiny and not very clean. I have only a cabin trolley and after I open it and put it next to the bed which is the only space in the room, there is no more space at all. And the floor next to the bed was sticky, I dumped my slippers after stayed 6 days in this room. Bathroom is large compare to the size of the room and a big bathtub which is really a surprise.
Front desk staff very helpful though not really good at communicate with English,. I complained the cleanliness of the room, the manager Google translate the word 'dirty'. Though everytime I approach the front desk I have to repeat several times my request but I felt the staff sincerity and do their best to help the customers.

This hotel is perfect if you are staying only a few nights and prefer to be close to the bus/train station- it is just across the street! Lovely clean (but small) room, wonderful staff and definitely a hotel i will stay at a again on my return to sapporo.

Perfect for travellers!

Room tip: Ask for a high room with a view...to avoid getting a room that looks out onto a cement wall.

The location is excellent; directly opposite JR Sapporo station. Just take note to take the south exit and you will face the hotel directly. The check in was a breeze and we got to our room in no time. The room was a bit small but we knew that Japanese rooms were always smaller and much compact in sizes but they had almost everything we needed in the room. We could only managed to open one luggage at any one time or we will have no space to walk around. There are LAN and Wifi available in the room. Breakfast was ok and not a good spread but it was manageable. The malls were directly opposite the hotel and it was very convenient to grab a quick bite and do some shopping. We stayed a total of 4 nights before we left for Hakodate. Overall a clean and convenient hotel. :)

I stayed a total of 4 nights at this hotel during a business trip to Hokkaido in September 2012.
It is ideally located right across from Sapporo main rail station - and is handy for the transit to and from New Chitose airport and other train destination on Hokkaido. As a single traveller I had a standard double bedroom, which was compact but 'everything was there', including work station, fridge (no paying minibar), safe, a full size bathroom with a very deep bath. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located from the 7th floor of the building and up. This does help with reducing traffic noise which is intense on the frontage. If you really want a super quiet room, as for one facing the rear.

There is a little food and drink kiosk in the lobby area, as well as a wine store. Drinks machine also dispense soft drinks, water and beer. There is no lunch or dinner, but breakfast can be had if very early in the lounge on the lobby area, or at set times in the street level restaurant, where choices were good though light on the fruit selection. Note that long queues to the breakfast were the case over the week-end from 8 am onwards, as the restaurant is on the small side.

I organised a tour from the hotel concierge as I was over for a week-end. The lakes and volcano trip was superb and only £50 for a 12 hour trip including lunch! The company is Chuo Bus, their booking office being located on the second level of the ESTA building right by the rail station. Highly recommended.

Across the road is an open air market and eatery, where you can buy fruit or have a lunch or dinner, or sample wine in a wine bar. Below the surface, a very large shopping mall also provides eating opportunities as well as shopping to your heart's content. Sapporo centre is compact and easily accessible on foot, or by the metro, which is only two blocks from the hotel.

I can recommend this hotel for both business and vacation travellers to the beautiful island of Hokkaido.

we booked the hotel in advance which spent us less than 5 minutes to complete the check-in procedure. like most of the hotel in Japan, the room is small but clean. although the staff cannot speak good english, they are very helpful in trying their best to answer our question by using their limited english
we have nothing to say about the location.. it is jus opposite of sapporo station which can be access from the station directly.
