5N stays, cozy hotel

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Nov 4, 2012
We stayed 5 nights in Keio Plaza Sapporo which is just about 5 min walk from Sapporo Station. Strategically located. There is another convenient shop right outside the hotel.

The room size is just nice for for couple with a 10-old child. There is a massage chair for us! After each day long walk, all of us took turn to relax and relief. Surprisingly, the massage chair provides a good and hard pressure massage especially to our back and legs. I almost fall asleep too. We can also view the ferris wheel from the room.

Full amenities are provided daily. Shower room is clean and spacious. We had lavender and iris soup bath too.

Service provided are excellent and no communication barrier.

highly recommended.

Check out several websites that provide the same room but with different rates.

This hotel is located near JR Sapporo station and good location for those come from the new Chitose airport.
Room is slightly out-dated , but well-maintained. The room had two twin-beds and is wide in Japanese standard. Sheets and towels were clean and good quality.
Breakfast was provided in the buffet restaurant at first floor but very clouded around 7am.
Those who like quiet environment should use restaurants upstairs.

These rooms are good value for money. Watch out for the bar downstairs though as this may even out any cost savings you just made. The cafeteria/bar area on the first floor is also pricey but it really has a nice lounge ambience and it is worth it for that. The breakfast is really good. You need to queue in the morning but it is only a matter of minutes to be seated.

Service is always courteous. Rooms fairly basic and cabin-like but they do the job. Wifi is not free and seemed a bit complicated.
I would come back.

Family of 4 (2 kids under 6), stayed total of 4 nights while visting Sapporo area with trip to Otaru in middle. Rented a van at Chitose airport. Was an easy drive to the hotel using the navi and parking was convenient and only 1000 yen per stay with unlimited entry and exit from the deck. Driving from hotel to various sites in the city was also easier than expected as parking was easy to find. Being close to the JR station is also a plus.

On first stay we got a newer room (2 beds) with a small sofa. This was great as one of the kids wanted to sleep there. Apparently this was an upgrade over what we had booked, because the second stay was a 'less new' room and no sofa.

Service was good and efficient, but staff seemed a little uninspired.

Info at the hotel showed several differnt grades of rooms so try to find out more info when you book.

Stayed 3 nites - 7 mins stroll to JR train, sub-way and bus terminal -central place to go to different places in Hokkaido. Besides close to shopping centres, one can walk to the Odori Park, Susukino Ramen Arcade and Tanukikoji Shopping Street.
Breakfast served at the Level 22 resturant is very good. The bath-tub and toilet bidet pampered our hygiene needs. Service is great though it can be further improved with more English speaking staff or more instructional materials in English or Chinese. One down side is that you have to pay 1000 yen (US$12) to use the swimming pool.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The hotel is in very conventient location - very near to shopping areas, eg Diamaru Department Store, JR Station & etc. Very easy to move around. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. The room is ok but the two sofas provided are not clean. The ventilation of the room need to be improved - air con not strong enough.
