This is my fourth time staying at this hotel in Susukino. The Daiwa Roynet chain is a really good value hotel. The rooms are larger, wonderful bathroom, comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast buffet. Windows open to the fresh air and air conditioning and heating works well. Staff is on it and polite and check in is always fast. Towels are always fluffy and new.

However on this trip, I did find some problems in my room. 1) huge hand print on my window. 2) found a q-tip or ear cleaner on my window pane 3) a water stain the size of someone’s butt clearly on my sofa seat. (I’ve told
Management about my sofa. But yet nothing has been done) I just feel that it’s unsanitary looking, and I will not sit there.

I would still prefer to come back to this hotel on up coming trips to Sapporo.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sapporo is a typical Japanese hotel. It has small rooms so space is the first thing you need to manage with your luggage. Toilets are standard with automated bidets and a small tub.

There are a lot of hotels that am sure are great but this hotel’s location was perfect. It was very near the airport bus drop off/pick up point and train stations.

Supplies and food wont be a problem. Hotel guests have an indoor access to a 7-11 store at the ground floor. No need to dress up in your winter gear for supply runs.

Located in Susukino, the entertainment district, the hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, bars and stores.

The hotel is not grand but is good. It is great hotel for a traveler to explore Sapporo.

Good location to stay. Near subways, cable car and nice restos around. Clean rooms. There is a convenience store at the same building. The italian restaurant below serves their breakfast and it is so good! Nice to know that if you dont eat your breakfast, they will give you coupon vouchers which you can use at this restaurant for maybe dinner or snacks...
