Visited in early spring. They have just removed whatever was left from Sapporo Winter Festival and still a bit messy. Temperature is still cold, dropping to 0 degree or less at night. In about a month, should be able to see flowers at boulevard and cherry blossoms. Would be a better time to visit then, sitting under the cherry blossoms, soaking in the atmosphere and drinking/eating!

We went all the way there hoping to see a green/snow filled park but on the contrary, it was dull, wet and gloomy during this time. No activity or life when we visited. Go spend your time elsewhere.

We tried to walk to the park when it was heavily snowing. Everything at the park was covered in snow, didn't get to see much, but we had fun with the snow filled park

Odori park was the place to held Sapporo winter festival, the park was big, unfortunately if you go not in Winter festival, the place seem dull and not interesting.

This park hosts the snow festival in early February. You can see some skiiers performing tricks, go ice skating and look at the numerous ice sculptures around the park. It makes a great day's entertainment.
