Owner description: No visit to this unforgettable walk through the culture and history of chocolate would be complete without a snack in the Chocolate Lounge.

Parking was free. Actual "factory" part was shorter than expected, but still very interesting. Flight was late and we only arrived about an hour before the last entry time. We stayed about 2hrs and it was enough to see the basics, but definately deserved more time.

Its rather difficult to find this place , I input the phone for my gps it leads me to the office and thank god it's only a walking distance to the park , entrance is free so is parking , I went during summer , full blooms of beautiful flowers in the garden , cute little house decoration , creamy in house ice cream , Victorian inspire design building , bought the famous Ishiya chocolates here . Would recommend to go for a visit .

The train is wonderful for toddlers and the tunnel and waterfall are lovely. If you are there on the hour you can see a great display with music and bubbles. The new candy making part is cool too. Some other activities for older kids which we didn't try yet. The train is covered on rainy days and they loan umbrellas for you to walk outside, even little kids ones. Just lovely.

This place is so fairy tale like on the outside! Kids and adults alike will like it!

One can easily spend one and a half hour there, the factory/exhibits are interesting.

There is also a cafe at the 2nd floor, and it served very nice looking cakes and chocolates.

A the ground floor, there is a lollipop shop on the right and the rest of the food merchandise on the left. People just go crazy sweeping off the products from the shelf.

Overall, we had a good time there.

I loved their achitectural landscape. You should go there during June when they have flowers all in bloom. Take many pictures and have shiroi koibito flavoured ice cream while admiring the lovely scenery.
