great location, attentive staff and reasonably sized rooms. Limousine bus stops to and from new Chitose airport located just a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast was something of a disappointment but we didn't let that mar our stay. Overall a marvellous stay.

Opposite to the general kani restaurant, 24-hour sushi sanmai and ramen street round the corner, you just can't beat the convenience. Also walking distance to the big department stores and the shopping streets.
The room is decent, new, and clean. The hotel breakfast is also up to standard. In the past we stayed by the sapporo station but it's dead quiet at night. We love this hotel and will be our top hotel choice in Sapporo now!

Stayed on 16 and then the other two days on 24&25 Oct.

The location is very convenient. Walkable distance to main attractions in Sapporo. 2-3Minutes walk from airport bus stop. Restaurants and conven stores nearby open until midnight and some even for 24hours.

Hotel room is neat, clean as if other Mercure I have been. Specious as compared to other hotels at similar rate. Got a very good deal as Accor member under promotion. Suggest to join the membership before making reservation.

Staff were superb helpful in general except one or two at reception desk could be more polite. Impressed about high English level of staff. Sometimes it's difficult to communicate with hotel staff in Japan, but here was not the case.

Mercure Hotel Sapporo is in Susukino area. Rooms are big and clean. Hotel staffs are freindly and can communicate ing English. Lots of famous food around there, famous ramen, Crab and some 24 hours Gyudon. Ramen alley is 5 minutes walk. The famous Nanda seafood buffet is around the corner. There are many convenient store near this hotel, the nearest one is just beside hotel entrance.

I just spent a night in the Mercure Sapporo. I was pleasantly surprised by my room (702). It was nicer than I had expected, having stayed at several other Mercures over the past year. Reception is on the 3rd floor which gets you away from the noisy (and often inebriated) ground floor traffic of Susukino, Sapporo's entertainment district. The staff were pleasant and personable, speak good English, and the entire hotel is non-smoking, which is a huge plus here in Japan. The cost, for Japan, was very reasonable for what you are getting, and the rooms are pretty spacious. The Mercure Sapporo is my new home away from home when I come into Sapporo for a night on the town.
