Walk around the lake, look at the flower beds, and then don't miss the Japanese Garden. There's a nice playground for kids too..

This is a beautiful park. Trees are now in green, yellow, orange and red colours. A must visit place while in Sapporo, especially in Autumn.

Nakajima Park is a beautiful place in every every season. Hokkaido has four distinct seasons. When we visited in autumn (fall) the leaves were changing colors, making a pretty scene. Many of the trees look beautiful in the winter snow. The park contains a large lake, with rowing boats for hire. The lake is crossed by a number of ornamental bridges. Apart from this, Nakajima Park has some notable features, such as Sapporo's Kitara concert hall and Leonard Bernstein Place, dedicated to the US conductor, composer and music educator. The park is serviced by two subway stops. It adjoins the Susukino entertainment district.

There are so many parks in Sapporo where you can enjoy the countries four seasons ( winter, spring, summer and fall) and one of which is Nakajima park, and fortunate for me coz it’s just a minute away from the place i always used to stay (that orange building) every time i visit this beautiful country..

Nakajima Park is great for those who love photography! It is also very quiet calm and peaceful for those who just need to escape the buzzing city around, take a bike ride around the park or go for a run over the bridges, eat some ice cream, take a boat ride around the lake or just people watch all day.
